At Run For Office, we believe that leadership is a skill that can be taught, refined and multiplied. Today, we are proud to announce a partnership that takes this belief to the next level.
We have officially signed a collaboration with the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) to train a new wave of young, ethical and socially conscious campaign managers ahead of the 2027 elections. This partnership is anchored in one truth: when young people are equipped with the right knowledge and tools, they can shift the political landscape boldly and intentionally.
In 2026, we will train at least 200 young people, with 70% of them being young women. Because young women deserve spaces where they are prepared, supported and positioned to lead political processes; not as an afterthought, but as a priority. Young men are equally central to this work, especially in building a political culture that is inclusive, feminist and grounded in integrity.
The training will draw from our already developed curriculum on strategy, messaging, community organizing, ethical leadership and feminist principles. Together with AYLF, we will nurture campaign managers who understand both the power and responsibility that comes with shaping public leadership.
This partnership is more than a program. It is a commitment to Kenya’s future, to a generation that is ready to run campaigns that are honest, people-centred and transformative. It is a reminder that political change doesn’t just happen on stage; it is crafted in the backrooms by young people who dare to believe their work matters.
We are excited. We are ready. And we can’t wait to meet the young leaders who will carry this vision forward.
